Photo catch up Oct. 2014-Jan. 2015

Life as a full time working mommy and caring for a very active toddler has kept me from keeping up with this blog as much as I would like to.  So I am using this post as a catch up for some photos of Kennedy.  She gets more beautiful every day, inside and out, and we just love watching her grow and mature.

Kennedy is now 20 months old (unbelievable!) and over the last few months has expanded her vocabulary so much we can hardly believe it.  She talks in full sentences and sings several songs.  Her most recent learned songs are "Peter Cottontail" and "Take me out to the ball game".  She also knows lyrics to Rocka Bye Baby, Twinkle Little Star, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hot Dog song...just to name a couple.  Her favorite shows are Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  Her favorite movies at the moment are Finding Nemo and Cars.  Speaking of cars, she is absolutely obsessed with all of Aaron's RC cars and it's adorable.  Aaron has some smaller cars that he zips around the living room for her (during these winter months), and she can't get enough of them.
She is still and has always been a great eater.  Still loves all her veggies and fruits, yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs, chicken nuggets, meatballs, pasta, macaroni & cheese, raisins...the list goes on and on.  Basically she is not a picky eater at all and she has always really enjoyed mealtimes.

Kennedy's 2nd Christmas was plagued by Influenza A, which she was diagnosed with on Christmas Eve.  So Aaron and I spent the holidays into the new year (2015) getting her healthy again. We didn't leave the house for more than a week while she recovered.  Poor thing, it was so sad to see her so miserable...but she was a trooper and fought through the sickness.  She was not a fan of Santa this year.  I think she got to meet a total of 4 Santas (through some different Christmas activities we attended with her) and she did not like a single one of them.

Her big gifts for Christmas 2014 were a kitchen set from my in-laws and a Pottery Barn kids size table and chairs from my parents. She enjoys pretending to cook and copying what she sees mommy and daddy do.

She is an absolute joy and makes us laugh and smile every single day.

Below are some photos over the last few months that I didn't get a chance to post sooner..
