I expected to feel a lot worse at this stage than I do...mainly because of the horror stories I heard from others about the last couple months of pregnancy. My advice for other women during their pregnancy....do NOT believe everything other women tell you about pregnancy. Every woman is different, every woman will experience different things throughout her pregnancy. I heard that my hands and feel would be extremely swollen, I would be exhausted, not be able to sleep well, I would barely be able to bend over to put my shoes on.....basically every discomfort you could think of...that is what I was expecting. Although there are a few small discomforts, all in all I feel really good.
I'm 38 1/2 weeks pregnant and today I went paddle boating on our lake, kayaking and hand washed my car. I honestly thought I would be waddling around barely able to move and practically handicapped, based on some things I heard. Again...DO NOT believe everything you hear :)
My parents came and visited with me today. We went out for breakfast then down to the lake and had a relaxing afternoon. After they left I decided to use the energy I had and wash my car.
Really hard to believe we are having a baby this month. I'm getting really excited now that it is getting so close. I want to see what our little girl looks like and hold her :) soon enough....
Here are a few pictures from the first day of June....our baby girl's due date month!
